The conference will adopt a multi-layered engagement model that blends plenary sessions, breakout discussions, scientific showcases, exhibitions, and community engagement. First day will feature keynote address with each day dressed by expert panels, interactive workshops, evidence-based research presentations, and networking opportunities, while also ensuring that the voices of mobile populations and vulnerable groups are included in shaping healthier, safer, and more resilient transport corridors.

Day 1

Setting the stage

  • Opening ceremony and high-level keynote address emphasizing the urgency of integrating health into corridor development.
  • Panel discussions: experts from transport, health, and public policy on the corridors-disease nexus.
  • Case study presentations: programmes that have successfully mitigated disease spread along corridors in Africa.

Exploring & Co-creating solution

  • Closing presentations: North Star Alliance and NCTTCA summarise key takeaways and next steps.
  • Conference declaration: joint statement outlining agreed actions and commitments.
